The Bliss of Loneliness

from Outward by The Soundrops

/

lyrics

oh I thought I had lost the way
but now I see that all the clouds disperse
a gentle touch of the morning wind
the beauty`s voice
inciting me to stay
away where I can hear the grass talk with rain
where I can melt in the clearing flame away
I read the Heavenly news

here the endless space tears down the prisons of my thoughts
here the lapse of time unfolds the vanity of my violent trials
I am but a stone there on the road he wants to go
let Him polish my pointed heart
I want to mutilate His feet no more

all the fields I`d considered wastes begin to bloom at their right time and place
not until I`ve been here could I appreciate the wisdom of His plans
alone here the pespective is clear alone
here His presence so real
the calm
a swan
I seem to understand more

here the endless space tears down the prisons of my thoughts
here the lapse of time unfolds the vanity of my violent trials
I am but a stone there on the road he wants to go
let Him polish my pointed heart
I want to mutilate His feet no more

now when I have been given this, Lord, let me go
and hand it round all around
I can`t wait for all that`s to come
do let me speak of the Chalice in the Wonderland
ablaze let me accomplish Your will ablaze
let me extol what You give to all of us
bless bliss of my loneliness
